Audie T. Collins was born in 1896 in Arkadelphia, AK. to Y.G. Terrell and Sara Hickman. She enjoyed the rural life with her parents and two brothers; Fred and Dossie.

When it came time to decided on a career, Audie chose teaching. Teaching proved to be her calling in life because she loved children so much and enjoyed being around them. Mrs. Collins taught various subjects and age groups.

She is best remembered for teaching grades 4 and 5 and being a Home Economics instructor. She later retired from the Littlefield school district after more than 40 years of loyal service.

Not only her former pupils but the City of Littlefield have great memories of her as a caring person who loved teaching. Everyone knows her as a Christian lady that loved life and people.
