AUDIE TERRELL COLLINS
Audie T. Collins was born in 1896 in Arkadelphia, AK.
to Y.G. Terrell and Sara Hickman. She enjoyed the rural
life with her parents and two brothers; Fred and Dossie.
When it came time to decided on a career, Audie chose teaching.
Teaching proved to be her calling in life because she loved
children so much and enjoyed being around them. Mrs. Collins
taught various subjects and age groups.
She is best remembered for teaching grades 4 and 5 and being a Home Economics instructor.
She later retired from the Littlefield school district after more than 40
years of loyal service.
Not only her former pupils but the City of Littlefield have great memories of her as a caring
person who loved teaching. Everyone knows her as a Christian
lady that loved life and people.
